The Great North Swim is a fantastic weekend of open water swimming in the stunning Lake District surroundings. The event offers a family friendly atmosphere, spectacular swimming action and an unbeatable sense of achievement as you step out of the water and cross the finish line. Make a weekend of it, and enjoy the popular event village at Brockhole, complete with exhibitor stands, pop-up food stalls and activities & games for all ages.

• You’ll be doing something amazing for children with cancer.

We will support you in raising your target to help us deliver our vital work which will be directly used towards our core services; £10 will help provide a storytelling session and buy a book for a child suffering from cancer in hospital. £20 will help provide a 121 pottery session for the child to create a memento that their family can treasure after they have gone. £50 will provide a 1 hour family pottery session in one of seven major childhood cancer hospitals and £250 will provide a vital life line to families struggling with the cost of caring for their terminally ill child.
